In the past, I have taught songwriting & production workshops for high school students,
taken courses at Berklee College of Music’s MPE Program, and independently studied
composition & arrangement. At UCD, I minored in Music, participated in the Sound Lab
project with department chair Sam Nichols, and played in the Capoeira Angola ensemble,
led by Juandiego Diaz. From 2022-2025, I served on the Academic Advisory Committee
for the Mondavi Center, where I wrote performance reviews & helped to curate the patron
experience in stage production, sound, service & programming.
As I was learning to produce music, I released songs under the alias Ai Means Love, a project
which was retired in 2023 and involved some early collaborations with friends–– Jasmine Kelly,
Yuri Shin, Thomas Ng, Maggery, & label partners like Homework Radio. I’ve since taken an
extended leave from public work, though I continue to explore instruments & digital arrangement
whenever possible. An unfinished record from 2024 under the alias Bunnyslopes is available on
Bandcamp, along with the final release from my recordings as AML.
